how to make something like a monster arena ( like in Final fantasy 10 in calm lands)
do i need to replace the item shop ? how ?

just make it an event with repeated battles and rewards set up in the event

i mean like in ff X when you talk to the man in calm lands aside from selling items & weapons you have an option to pay to battle monster.. basically the monster is part of the shop

event with dialog then thats acts like a shop but instead of items you get warped to a battle area.

Yeah, and you can make your choice dialogue/monster buy screen match your shop layouts, so it's still a familiar look and your players get the whole 'battle-buying' experience.
