ok so im back to working on my recoil system an i noticed that i cant change position of an object an reset it back one after the other ive tried a tick machine a tagged machine a even using the fire interaction to try to hold the arms in a position so that they will always go back to the original position after firing the weapon. ive tried rigid bodys an get a very bad result with that so im using change position with a random value set up to local space to do recoil but cant seem to get it to go back to the original position correctly -_- any help on this would be great

Well, that will naturally not work - change position will set/fade the position, if you're using 0,0,0 it'll set the position to that. You'd need to first store the position into a Vector3 variable before changing it for the recoil and resetting it to the stored position afterwards.
