Most of them will be final... however I have some I would like to swap out when I am able to afford some better ones, since I would like to have a more unified look on some stuff... some are a bit to stylistic to actually fit in perfectly. It's all about what I can afford :)
However I can't really say that I am having that good game making skills yet ;) I just started 5 months ago without any prior game making knowledge and struggling with alot of things too, but learning during the process. So I dare to say that basically all around here should be able to pull off good stuff :)
I am using a mix of legacy UI through Ork and custom NewGUI elements. This isn't flawless as it is now. I am awaiting a setting from GiL that allows us to set specific GUI boxes individual scaling since that will fix the scaling issues I currently have that the actionbar i scaling differently compared to the GUI with the health globes.
I recorded a video of the very first part of the starting area. Mind that the character speed is about twice as fast as it normally would run, but that's due to testing purposes.
Also this is VERY pre-alpha. And the lightning is currently too dark much because I had to made it alot darker since when I bake the light then Unity makes everything ALOT brighter. This made everything look way to bright so currently I deleted the lightmap and only use real time lightning. Worth to notice is that the game will be dark since you arrive at night time to the village and also there is a reason why it's called The "Curse" of Ashenby ;)
And also... EXCUSE my bad english and the pronouncing of R's in the video ;)
Well the combat will be a custom made one... since we couldn't achieve what we were after when it came to realtime combat. We have just started the basics of it, so not that much to share yet :p
You obviously have good Game making skills.

went about constructing your great looking user interface.
Are you using the new GUI System, or the old built in one. Would it be possible to show me Step by Step how you constructed just one of your sections.
Many Thanks

Revamped the starting village simply to look better.
Also started to work on the Ashenby mine environment which you will see screenshots of down below:
So the work is coming along... slow but steady :)

I quite like that Evil Systems GUI that you chose; I'd been considering that one myself!
Yea I think Evil System has several nice GUI's to choose from too. It's so fun planning and putting the environments together... I really like that :)
