edited August 2015 in ORK Support
So I switched to mouse/touch for my controls and it works great for navigating. I haven't figured out how to open the main in game menu. Do I need to add a button to the screen then call a menu function to open it? Any ideas what would work best? Excuse me if this is a post or tut already. I thought I scoured it but may have missed.

Thanks for everyones time.

  • Do you mean an in game menu button that calls your inventory, equipment, quest, status and other screens? There's a tutorial for that. You have to make an overview button that when you tap it opens up more buttons that call those screens when you tap them.

You make a HUD for the Overview button and then the menu screens. If you can't find the tutorial let me know---if that's the type of menu you mean.
  • That is exactly what I am looking for. I am looking for the tut and will update here if I locate it. If you have a link that would be fantastic.

Am away from my computer until Sunday night so can only answer questions off the top of my head and search ORK but these tutorials should work for you.

  • You can use a Control type HUD to create virtual buttons on the screen that will give input to the input keys. E.g. if you have an input key to open your in-game menu, add this input key in a Control HUD and you can open the menu by clicking/touching the button.
