I have a question.
I'm trying to make weakpoints on enemies, but player needs to see when he hits a weakpoint and when he just hits enemy not only in damage numbers.
Speaking clear, I need to spawn hit effect exactly on weakpoint(better exactly in point of hit) not on enemy prefab. For example, when player hits enemy head hit effect must spawn on it's head not on his chest or feet.
How to do that? What I must do or what external asset I must use?

  • How do you detect if the player hit a weakpoint in the first place?

    E.g. using damage dealers/zones you can do that, damage dealers will spawn a used particle effect at the point of impact.
