I haven't tried this yet but can you have a 3D background in the main menu and still have the buttons and title of the game show up? Camera would have to be 3D for the background.

    Yes you can. The main menu scene from the tutorials uses a perspective mode camera, you can place any 3d asset as the background

    The main menu scene is just a scene like every other - you can do whatever you like in it, which includes using ORK autostart events to animate something :)
