Hi GIL,

Just found that if I use empty game object as a parent holdings real player object as a child, ORK won't save the player position at all.
Wherever I saved the game, once loaded back in player will be spawned at the spawn point where the player firstly spawned at when scene loaded.

I tried not to use empty game object holding the real player game object as a child object, but failed due to limitation of other game functions.

Could you please advise if any trick to solve this issue?
I don't want the player to get started again and again at the spawn point.

Thank you so much again in advance.

  • Is your setup moving the empty game object or the child object when the player moves?
If you're only using the child object, the empty game object will stay at the same position, saving that position in save games.

Try using the Child As Root setting to define the child object as the root, which should save that position.
