Yes, that's possible. The Calculate node can optionally have different Next slots based on hit/miss/etc. - so you can e.g. fire another action as a sub-action with a Use Battle Action node.

When using damage dealers, you can use a battle event to animate what happens upon a hit from the damage dealer. In that battle event, you'd again use a Calculate node to calculate the outcome.
