Is it possible to check if an ability hit and cancel it into another ability?

  • Yes, that's possible. The Calculate node can optionally have different Next slots based on hit/miss/etc. - so you can e.g. fire another action as a sub-action with a Use Battle Action node.

  • Got it to work but, I can still cancel when I don't hit an enemy combatant.

    Would I still be able to use the calculate node with the activate damage dealer node?
  • When using damage dealers, you can use a battle event to animate what happens upon a hit from the damage dealer. In that battle event, you'd again use a Calculate node to calculate the outcome.
