Using Events and Staying Organized

Hello all,

I was just thinking about my file structure and was wondering how others are keeping track of events items etc?
Are there any tools others are using to stay on top of your project? To keep things in order. We all know that RPGs are huge on Dialogues, cut scenes etc...
