turnbased battle menu back option

Gil, in turnbased battle, I have two player characters. After I choose ATTACK, select a target, and the battle menu goes to my other character, if I want to change the first character's target, how do I go back? Right there there doesn't seems to be a BACK option, and I can't find it anywhere too.

    That's currently not possible - once an action has been selected, there's no going back.

    That's too hardcore :D
    I let 5 of my cousins tested my game, and most of them made mistakes in choosing options they don't really want, such as choosing a wrong ability or item, but have no way to go back.
    I remember that most, if not all, of the turnbased games I played have the ability to go back. Or am I just confused, since it's been a quite a while since I've played one? :)
