So when my combatants die it's really important that their character controller gets deleted. I tried having a remove component "character controller" on the death event but it hasn't worked at all.

The reason is that when they die I want their bodies to remain, but the collider to delete. So they don't act as passive obstacles.

  • Make sure you define the name of the component correctly, e.g. the character controller's class name is CharacterController.
