Hi! I have a doubt about the functionality of the grid system. Is vertical movement like in final fantasy tactics and similar games possible? I only could find the configuration in tutorials for a pure 2d plane horizontal grid battle. Can I use specific animations depending of characters walking in the same height or "climbing" to an elevated square/hex? If possible, it would be awesome to have an updated tutorial about this. Thanks for any help!
  • Yes, but that's up to the battle event that handles the grid movement. E.g. after getting the new cell to move to, check the height difference (e.g. Check Height Differences node) and animate/move the combatant according to that (e.g. jumping up/down or doing a normal move).
