Help Displaying Actor's New Name

Hi, this is my first post, so I'm sorry if I don't post enough info or something.
I've been through the entire game making tutorial and am now working on my own game. I found a thread, http://forum.orkframework.com/discussion/395/best-way-to-set-up-a-character-creator, but I cannot get the name display to work.
My actor has joined the active party, I'm using Value Input Dialogue to input the desired name to a variable called PlayerName, I'm setting the combatant's name using said variable, but when I display it using #actor.name0#, nothing shows. Any ideas?

E.g. if you change the name of the player combatant, that'd be the Player actor type.
