Hi,

In a grid battle, let's say you want to charge some action points when a character changes his orientation. How can you do that while still keeping a correct preview of the move action?

Also, is there a way to limit the turn rate in the move action? Let's say I have a vehicle or a large creature and I don't want it to be able to make a 180 degrees turn, but I'd like to restrict turn movements to increment of 60 degrees for hexes (or 90 degrees for squares).

  • I don't think either of this is currently possible.

Ok. I'll try to find some workarounds then. Would it be unreasonable to hope that one of these features get implemented in the future?

  • I have some ideas, but I am not sure if they will work:

    1) Restrict rotating to using arrow keys
    2) When using arrow keys in battle, a global event is initiated
    3) Global event makes player use an empty ability, which costs AP
    4) It ends player turn, so you can't turn again.

    Optionally:

    2) Using menu buttons to rotate combatants initiate battle event, which do the same as above and rotates the combatant

Are you doing vehicle combat? Sounds like fun.
  • Thanks for the tips!
