When the characters in my game talk, I want the dialogue to appear near their location, in a comic book style text bubble right above the character that is speaking. Any recommendations on achieving this effect?
  • In your Show Dialogue nodes enable Use Speaker, select the actor you want to use and enable Display At Actor to show the dialogue box based on the position of the actor's game object. You can also use the Path to Child and offset settings for further placement.

    The rest is up to how you style your GUI boxes, depending on the used GUI system - e.g. the new UI via the prefabs and the legacy GUI via the GUISkins you're using.
