The Activate Object node enables or disables game objects, including anything on them. So, as long as you're using the correct game object it'll work.
However, searching for game objects (e.g. via the Search Objects node) can only find active game objects, as Unity doesn't find disabled game objects. You can reference disabled game objects as Object type actors (with Event Object disabled) - this allows you to select a game object in the Event Interaction component using the event.
Please consider rating/reviewing my products on the Asset Store (hopefully positively), as that helps tremendously with getting found. If you're enjoying my products, updates and support, please consider supporting me on patreon.com!
