First, I'd take another go through the tutorials and make sure to absolutely familiarize yourself with events. They're essentially the core of what makes ORK tick.

Then it's pretty simple to use dialogue nodes for your Innkeeper's dialogue and regenerate nodes to recover all status values to full.

Make your inn. But don't make it a shop per se. You can talk to the innkeeper and get a choice to Sleep where you can set the player hp to 100 and set the player mp to 100--or whatever your Player's full hp and mp is. You could also get a choice to Drink Beer where you could buy a beer. Not too hard to do. : ) But don't use a shop use a dialogue tree.

In my Wizzard Island game update, you can sleep in your bed in your Quarters and restore your hp and mp. Same thing more or less. Sadly your bed can't give you a beer but it's there in a barrel. : ) Perpetual beer!

  • im pretty familiar with the event but those who don't cover in the tutorial is the one i cn't put in my project so instead of experimenting i rather ask it here ,but thanks for the help, appreciate it =)
  • and @catacomber i reply in your PM =)
  • I answered your pm---you have to plug your player prefab in the right spot in the KGF prefab--the documentation is pretty good about it.

The documentation is not that clear that you should change the KGFMapSystem prefab to render "Everything" that might help.

KGF has a good forum and Kolmich is extremely helpful, just like gamingislove. : )

Here's a quick gameplay tutorial about using the event system for inns, including how to display the player's current amount of money using a HUD :)
