Hey there.
I'd like to store the rotation of an NPC, then restore it once the interaction event is over, but I'm having a bit of trouble.
I've tried using Transform to Variable and then Change Rotation using that variable, but the NPC ends up facing the opposite direction for some reason??
Can someone help me debug this?
Now the reason I'm doing this is because I want the NPC to smoothly turn towards the player and then return to original position once the dialogue is over. If there's an easier way to do this please tell!
Also, to make him turn to his exact former position, you need to also enable Interpolate with Linear.

Either way, here is my test event. Check and see if this work, and if it works, compare it to yours to see why yours didn't work. Just add this as an interaction event to your npc. Make sure to also add an object variable component to the npc too.
