Glad to hear this! After a long hiatus, I've gotten back into ORK development and I'm eager to try out the new Grid combat.
Thanks again for your commitment to supporting ORK!
Under the Status Value : Base Settings, there is a checkbox for Combined Values. Setting that to true will allow you to have your status value be formula-based.
Does that help?
When using the Spawn Prefab Step to attach/mount UI components, I get a warning saying:
Parent of RectTransform is being set with parent property. Consider using the SetParent method instead, with the worldPositionStays argument set to false. Thi…
Well that was embarrassing. Two things to remember:
1) User is the setting for the Machine Object.
2) All Object variables in Makinom require the Makinom Object Variables component to be used.
Carry on.
Actually, it seems worse than this. I cannot get Machine Object variables to work at all. I can do a quick Change Variables -> Check Variables in a fresh Makinom game and they always return False. Change them to Global Variables and they work fin…
I apologize. Filter Found Objects is running correctly when I create a new project and a simple test. I'll have to do some further testing to figure out why it is not functioning in my main game.
Minor issue, but Check Function : Return Value type: Bool Value : Bool Value checkbox is set to false by default. This should be true by default so as to return the bool value correctly instead of the unlikely case the user needs it reversed.

Either I am doing something wrong or Filter Found Objects doesn't seem to function. To test this:
1) Create a trigger to activate a Schematic. Use the player to activate it.
2) Create 2 Cubes nearby.
3) Set up the Schematic to : Search Objects (Cub…
Are the Performance Improvements in ORK 2.6.0 also present in Makinom? I assumed that Makinom already had them and this was ORK catching up to Makinom, but I figured I should ask to make sure.
Just made my contribution to the goal. Not a huge need for me but ORK support is outstanding and should be rewarded.
Plus, I think milestone payments like this make more sense than one-time sales for large frameworks like ORK. Single purchase ince…
Oh, yeah. Makinom seems easier to use for situations like this. It is much more versatile than the ORK scripting system.
I'll mark this solved in the sense that users interested in more advanced AI should be using Makinom.
I did some coding and solved this problem for my use case. I have a script that searches for the nearest item and passes the Position back as a Vector3. Since the Change Nav Mesh Target step accepts a Vector3 Game Variable, this works fine.
Still t…
I apologize if anyone was waiting for me to post this code. Things came up that made it difficult for me to get back to this.
Here is an example function that can be used to give multiple attacks. Note that Status[24] is the status value of the num…
