No errors that I see in the logs. The final node of the start event I call a Coroutine. I 've checked that I reach the end of the coroutine in the build, but could that be blocking the battle from starting in any way?
UPDATE:
I was able to make the StartBossBattle function an IEnumerator and call that instead. This solved the issue of the thread being exited before the function completed (I think that was the issue anyway).

Great! Is there anything else that stands out as incorrect? I changed the Formula to Variable Initial Value to Value with a default value of 0. The value remains 0 when it gets printed though.
OK, so when is the new battle statistic formula (called DamageStatistic) updated? Do I also need to set up a Battle Event that updates that formula and attach it to my abilities? I've attached a couple more images for reference.
