I'm trying to create something like a "Graveyard" menu screen where you can view dead party members. I've made some progress but I am running into some issues.

In the death schematic, when a player combatant dies, they will join a new player group, ID 1. Then they will leave the battle group as otherwise there would be a limit to the number of "dead party members" that I can view, as they would all be in the active battle group and there is a limit defined for that.

I have two main issues that I am currently trying to resolve.

1). My currently implementation of the graveyard is basically just a menu screen with a group menu part, so it functions exactly the same as the "standard" group menu which views the player's party. The only difference is that I have an open/close schematic that switches the current group to another player group ID (1). Currently what this means is I have to create a "dummy" dead combatant to join the active group (player group ID 1) at the very start of the game as otherwise if I open the menu screen, I will get errors and the menu screen won't open/close properly.

2). The second issue is that this placeholder combatant in the active group is always selected at the start when the menu screen is opened. Because it is always selected, the "Dummy combatant" stats get displayed. The intention of this menu screen is to only list members that should technically be "dead" but since it is really just another group, the actual UI box for the battle group has been moved literally off screen, so only the non-combat group (second box) is actually visible on the screen. So, that's my issue. The fact that the first combatant in the active group is always selected, which is the dummy combatant, so it kinda gives it away and makes this current setup feel janky as it's supposed to only display dead combatant members.

Similar to my thread on the "Mark New Content", the UI box that is being used by the 1st group (and moved off screen), also has "Auto Select First Input" disabled. I thought that would make it so that the active combatant would not be automatically selected.

Disabling "Auto Select First Input" works in other cases, like the UI box for loading save files, disabling that will make it so that the first save file to load is no longer selected (the one at the top). But I guess it doesn't work for this case either?

3). If disabling "Auto Select First Input" for the UI box for the 1st group (active) is not meant to make it so it isn't automatically selected, or if there is no way to NOT automatically selected, which means I cannot hide this dummy combatant that is in the active group and always automatically selected first when I open up the memorial screen which just makes it feel too janky overall...can you please tell me other alternative ways to make an obituary menu screen to just display dead party members and ONLY dead party members, please?

4). I have an issue with my setup where the combatant's body disappears (in the scene after dying) after I manually get the combatant to "Leave Group/Join Group/Leave Battle Group" via a death schematic. It needs to join another player group ID in order to view it in a separate obituary menu screen. In my death settings, if I enable "Leave On Death", the combatant will actually remain in the scene, the body won't disappear. However doing this won't allow me to add the dead combatant to another group, I guess it's gone by the time the schematic tries to access it. Without using Leave Group/Join Group nodes, my death settings will allow the combatant's body to remain in the scene after death but then obviously I can't view it in a separate obituary screen. So, how do I allow the dead combatant's body to remain in the scene but also allow it to join another player group for the purposes of viewing it in a different group? I currently trigger these nodes in the death schematic, right as the combatant dies.

5). I also have a display issue regarding displaying the currently selected group when viewing them in menuscreens. I have replicated this issue and I have a test project but since you asked me to hold off first, I guess I will take the time to explain the whole setup here first.

I create a new group player group ID on start game, one combatant goes to that group, the others obviously stay in group 0.
I have two menu screens, I am just using the "Overview" menuscreen, and I created a duplicate. They have their own call keys and "Allow In-Menu Call" is enabled.
They have their own open/close schematics.
The first menu screen (F1) shows the default group.
The second menu screen (F2) shows the player group ID 1 (dead group).
The second menu screen has schematics where on open it changes group to ID 1, then on close it swaps back to ID 0.

Issue: This is theory works in most cases, but there is a very strange instance where it never works, as in it doesn't swap back to group ID 0/default group. This specifically occurs when you first run the game, you press F2 to open the 2nd menu screen first and it shows group ID 1, then you press F1 to show the first menu screen. It should be swapping groups on close, but the very first time, it doesn't. So if you press F2, then F1, when you get to the first menu screen it will still show group ID 1. It is specifically this way. If you press F2, then press F2 again so open/close with same key, then press F1, the groups will change correctly. Subsequent opens also works after. So in other words, after the issue occurs, (F2 to F1), if you press F1 again then F2 again, the second round the groups will swap.

As a temporary fix, in the first menu's open schematic (F1), by default that schematic will just swap to group 0. However oddly if I first swap to group 1, then to group 0 it will solve the issue above. But again, it shouldn't be needed. Because without swapping to group 1 first, subsequent changes will work.
