I have a menuscreen, where I hope to add standalone HUD buttons that when pressed do X, like change name/dismiss character etc, all based off the starting object/menu user.
The actual schematics are all working and fine and the schematic setup works perfectly fine if I add them via a button list however I want to have standalone HUD buttons that when pressed, trigger a schematic.
So, I was hoping that creating a combatant HUD and adding it to the menuscreen separately.
The main issue is for some reason, the "starting object" never changes, it is always the player regardless of who I have selected in the group selection box, of which I have also enabled "Change Menu User".
Again, it works perfectly fine if I add these options into a button list, but I want them as standalone HUD buttons that I can define within the menuscreen, does defining them as a combatant HUD not change the selected combatant/menu user? Is there any menu part type that would?
