Strange behavior on similar (summon) spell.

As i explained in other topics, i tried to set up summon spells. My workflow is quite simple:

An ability spawn a combatant (controlled by AI with battle AI)
While spawning, it set a variable to +1
Another summon spawn a different combatant
If the variable reach 4, summoning is stopped
After battle ends, the variable is reset
These summon ability have a waiting of 6 turns before reusing.
After 5 turns (self-checked) the combatant disappear If i use a single summon ability, everything works like a charm. If i use two ability, and the battle ends, the first one only is available for the next battle. It seems like the last one used is still on count-down....Instead, if i wait both of them to disappear by turn count, they are both available... Maybe this is a specific issue, so if the project is needed i can provide a copy, just tell me how to. :)

If the availability is based on the variable counter, it's most likely not reset after the battle (e.g. battle end event).

No, sorry, i was using variables to limit summon per battle. I used default turn wait (6 turns) before the ability is available again, and it isn't, in the specific case.

By the way, is it possible to limit a skill to once per battle somehow?

Limiting to once per battle can be done with either using (object) game variables to mark the ability used, or using extra consumable status values for each ability :)

So, you're using the ability's Reuse Settings for the limit?

There's some new steps/mechanics coming in ORK 2.4.2 to help with summoning :)

Yes, i am using default Rese Option with 6 turns CD, and if i use both of them in a battle, without having the 6 turns expire, next battle the second summon isn't available.

Thanks for 2.4.2, it is perfect for summoning. :)

PS: would it require too much work to add a one-shot only use per battle option?

Reuse time working fine here - will be reset at the end of the battle, i.e. the ability can be used in the next battle, even if the required turns didn't pass yet. Do you have other requirements for the ability's use?

Cannot find it. :( The problem is only when i cast both of my summon and next battle occurs quickly, dunno exactly what i could have messed up. :( If i summon A, then then i kill the monster, with summon still on CD, i can use it next battle, immediately. If i summon B, then then i kill the monster, with summon still on CD, i can use it next battle, immediately. If i summon A and then B, then i kill the monster, with both still on CD, i can use A next battle, but not B. In this case, if i use A, then it is unavailable next battle, instead B become again usable.... If i don't use summons for a battle, both spells are available again... Same if i invert A with B.... I am getting mad. :D

What are the requirements for not being able to use the ability?

At the moment, only turn. I removed the global variable requirement (it was needed to check total summon number performed in a battle) as i wanted to test this issue, i just keep the incremental step of the variable in the event, but it should not affect it. Maybe you wanna have a look? If you have time and you tell me how to send you the project. ^^
