I might just not know the proper way to accomplish this, but I've set up a system so the player can change the name of a specific combatant. Most of the time this combatant is not in the player's party.
Is there a way to set the name of an object Actor in an event to a specific combatant without having them join your team as a member? It would be nice if I could just use the "Set name" option with #combatant.name1# but doing that throws an error.
I'm guessing the workaround suggestion would be to add him to the team and then remove him from the team after I'm done using him, but I was hoping there might be an easier way since I need to do it fairly often.
