Ability Grid range to be modified by weapon type?

Hey, Is there a way to change ability grid range with formula or other modifier? For example if I have Pierce Attack, and I want with that attack short sword to have 1 range, spear to have 2 range etc?

No, you need separate abilities for that - the weapon can override base attacks.
