I just want him to play his attack animation in battle. He doesn't have to equip anything right now. He's already equipped a shield and sword. He's just 3d arms with animated shield and sword.
I'll work on the equipment viewer after I get the attack animation working in every scene. It's very important to my beta testers.
swordWalk and swordRun are his idle, walk and run animations but I really don't care if they show up as it's just a little tip of a sword that shows. There is no idleWithSword Animation.
For his attack animation, he swings his shield and sword. That's very effective!
My player is just a capsule--first person capsule but he has 3d arms which are a child of the capsule---I don't care if he plays any animation at all except his Attack animation---but he does have the normal walk, run and idle animations for those 3d arms set up---he's just a capsule with 3d arms.
If nothing showed up in the field I wouldn't care. I just want the attack animation that my attack event plays.
But there is some problem that when my hero teleports from one scene to the other using the teleport event--he loses ALL his animations. He's fine now in the first level.

The scene changer for some reason doesn't lose the animations.
I could go back to no animations at all in battle but now that I got it working it would be kind of disappointing.
I hope that makes the problem a little clearer.
Remember he is just a capsule--no legs, head or anything else except very nice 3d arms with a shield and sword that work fine in battle.
