Improvements on Area Changer?

I don't know if i missed something, but is it possible to add extra features to Area Changer? Specifically, i would like some global variable change, it would be helpful instead of doing it with a new event. Is it possible by now?

You can add this either using a Variable Event component (which can also change variables) or using event interactions.
