this is basically same setup as the enemy move schematic i had in that project except made for the randomwaypooint schematic
so all the nodes are the same except this dosent handle the ai movement unless one of the checks in it shows true since the auto machine handles the main movement. i can send the schematic if you want. but shouldnt matter cause it does work for the most part except every so often after the player is detected once it resume's random wandering it will detect the player at a 360 degree angle. weather im right up behind the enemy or not itll turn around.
An issue that can come from your current setup is that the angle can also be negative - e.g. in my checks, the range is from -180 to 180, so your setup would only fail when the player is on the right side of the object's back.
Either use one of the Range checks (e.g. Range Inclusive from -90 to 90), or wait for the next update, when I'll add an option to use the absolute value of the angle (i.e. -90 would become 90).
