I can't find a smooth way to make something like this

Basically it's a interaction when you press a button he will climb to the ladder, i can think of a way to do this but certainly not a neat if you folks have some good alternatives :)

Just a game event, blocking player control, playing an animation and moving the player's game object. You'll need to get the timing right, or set up an animation for that.
