Problem with call menu screen event step

I'm having a problem with the call menu screen event. I have an event set up to display a menu screen. If I close the menu screen using the back button then it continues on to the next step as intended. If I open another menu screen that is set to single screen it closes the menu screen opened by the event, which is good. The issue is that if the menu opened by the event is closed this way the event never continues on to the next step, it just hangs there. Am I using this event step wrong?

    Might be that the event isn't notified when another menu screen is opened through the called screen - I will investigate :)
