Gil, I'm curious about something. In ork, or makinom, in real time battle, is it possible to make the ai act as like in skyrim, breath of the wild, etc, where the enemy ai will be switching between coming towards you to attack and slowly backing up, or stay at a distance from you for a while, and then either using range, or coming to attack with melee, and repeat. I'm far from implementing this inside my game, I'm just curious to see if it is doable. As of now, if the enemy sees me, it'll just come and try do a pummeling match until one of us died :)
  • That should be possible by using the move AI and switching between different modes, e.g. between Hunt and Caution mode. You can do this either in the event system or in the battle AI.
