I have a party of three main characters, and I need their corresponding dialogue to appear above them when they speak. I tried this originally using Actors with Index Numbers, but I noticed if their orders were switched around in combat, it would sometimes mess up their dialogue. Any other methods I could use besides assigning actors based on party index, or a way to make it work?
  • Depends on if you want to use their index in the group (i.e. the order they originally joined) or the index in the battle group.

    The Member actor has the Only Battle Group setting to manage that. So, if you want to have them speak based on the battle group, enable that option.
