Battle Menu Option/Command/Type : Escape , not working

Hi,
I am going through the tutorial and pretty much everything seems to work fine except the "Escape" button in the battle menu. I have tried everything that makes sense to me. escape event has been hooked to the Escape Animation in battle settings. When I try other Type for the button, they work - so it can't be a GUI issue. Please help.

Is this the very first battle in the tutorial? If so, it has you uncheck "can escape" in the Battle component so re-check that if you want to allow escaping:

edited October 2021Actually, its still not working. The player turns around, but doesn't move. Do you need a move action to escape from the battle collider ?Post edited by Blitzkreig95 on
