I'm trying to change the combatant type whenever combatants switch sides to allow the events in ORK framework to work as intended and not have to change a ton of things done previously. So is there any way to change the combatant type through scripting or if not through nodes in ORK framework?

  • No, that's a fixed setting - while you can change it via scripting, that'll affect all combatants, i.e. every combatant of the same kind's type will change.

    An alternative to using combatant types would be using defence attributes - here you can simply change the defence attribute of the combatant and also check it in status conditions just like the combatant type.
