Hi what is the recommended setup to get a battle encounter similar to that of Wasteland2/3 where based on some sort of trigger the open world scene/characters would transition into a grid battle in the same scene/map without transitioning into a new battle map of some sort?
Don't want to fight in a different scene? Just don't loat into one :)
E.g. the 3D RPG Playground tutorial series has battles in the same scene, wherever they happen.
You can do the same with grid battles, so you'll just have your grids in the scene and show them in your battle start schematic via the Show Battle Grid node (and hide them in battle end schematics).
