In a 2D Game with a Top Down Bordercamera type, how can I make the character not be centered on the camera? I want it to be on the left, like in the image below, instead of having the camera centered when the character moves.

My English is not very good, so there may be some translation problems, but basically, can the camera [-Top Down Border] have an offset? Currently, it is displayed in the center, but I don’t want it to be centered. Can an offset parameter be added?

A simple way would be to use "Use Child Object" in the camera controls settings, and call it something like 'Offset" the camera will be centered on that instead, and you can put it anywhere you want, including changing it in real time if you want.

  • Yeah, child object is the way to go.
