Is there any consideration of using UI Toolkit to refactor the entire editor extension interface for the next generation of Ork?

  • Maybe in ORK 4, but definitely not in ORK 3.

  • Okay, I've been diving into Ork's source code recently, and I noticed a significant portion dedicated to the editor. I realized that leveraging UI Toolkit could offer both aesthetic improvements and address some limitations of the intended Okr editor (extending Unity Imgui can be quite code-intensive...). Ork's codebase is quite extensive, which makes it a bit daunting to navigate. It's impressive that you've maintained it for so long and can still recall code written years ago – that's truly remarkable!

  • That's just the perks of doing the same thing for 15 years :)

  • Powerful!
With AI, I can quickly read most scripts, but some script files are too large (starting from several thousand lines) and AI can't read such long scripts. Reading these scripts is very difficult.
