Can't remove images

I am able to display a sprite image using the "Show Image" in Schematics, but the "Remove Image" does not remove the image even though the IDs match.
Could this be a bug?
As a workaround, I can remove the image by setting the image to "None" in "Show Image".

Do you use the same UI layer in the show and remove nodes?

When I specified the layer the image disappeared.
