ORK Framework 3.20 (and future updates) are part of the first and only paid upgrade in ORK 3's lifecycle. ORK 3 has a 2 year guarantee for free updates and it's already been over 3 years since the initial release. Instead of making a new paid upgrade every 2 years I've opted for doing a single paid upgrade in the middle of ORK 3's lifecycle (similar to ORK 2).

Upgrade Price

The upgrade from any ORK version (including 1 and 2) costs $50 in the Asset Store. If you've purchased ORK 3 in 2024 or 2025 before todays release of ORK 3.20 you'll be able to upgrade for free.
In case you purchased within the 2 year free update period, contact me (contact@orkframework.com) with your Asset Store order/invoice number to receive the latest versions until your update period ends.

The old ORK 3 version will remain on the Asset Store (as ORK Framework 3.19.X) and stick to the 3.19 major update version. It'll only receive bugfix updates and smaller new features for the remaining lifecycle of ORK 3.


Price Increase

ORK has been available since 2010 without any price increase, but due to the vastly increased cost and time needed to maintain, update and support I'll have to also increase the purchase price.
ORK 3.20 and newer versions now cost $150, but ORK 3.19 (i.e. the old, feature-locked version) will remain at $100.
However, there's currently a new release discount available and you'll be able to get ORK 3.20 for 50% off until March 14, 2025.

As a note for others, the Asset Store will say it's $50, but then your cart says $75. Once you go to the actual payment screen, it should go back to $50. Seems to be an odd display quirk with Unity for having the release / upgrade discounts going at the same time.

Hello, after I purchased ORK3.20.0, the store page still shows "Buy now", but I can open the download in the order. Will this affect my future download of ORK3 update?

That shouldn't affect it - most likely you're just not logged in the store when it shows 'buy now'.
Otherwise please contact the Asset Store team if you're unable to download future updates.
