The current forum software (Vanilla Forums) will no longer receive updates and didn't get any for some time, so I'll be migrating to a different forum software in the near future. Maybe even next week after the whole webhost migration has been dealt with.
I'm currently researching which software to use, e.g. Discourse or Flarum for a different style (e.g. like the new Unity discussions), or some old-school forum software ...
I'd love to get your comments or suggestions if you know a good alternative. Generally looking for open source software that's widely used to avoid having to migrate every few years due to dead projects or companies dropping support :)
