I want to be able to use the new Dialog Steps:Input Value Dialog to allow the player to give money to a beggar. But I need to set the max amount to their Gold. I can get the amount to show in a menu with the #currency.inventory0# text code, but I need it as a Game Variable.

Formulas have no Currency/Inventory equivalent to Combatant Steps:Status Value. There is Check Step:Has In Inventory, but that is only good for checking if the player could afford a specific amount.

Any idea how I could find out how much Gold the player has?

  • I don't think that's currently possible, will look into it!
