• also, I want to have a player like that skull guy with me on my quest like they do in the beginning of this game, to talk to. and get hints from. I think Ork has that capability to have a companion.
  • I hope I did not embarrass anyone with my personal story. heh.
  • Yes, you can have a party of characters using ORK. One of the later game tutorials gives an example of how to do it.

I've had as many as three additional companions accompanying my player, and it all runs smoothly in and out of combat.

Yes, Planescape: Torment has a LOT of dialogue, which ended up causing problems with localization. Honestly the game didn't really grab me until I got out of the Mortuary. Like Fallout 1, you can defeat the final challenge with the power of your words alone.
  • great thanks. Yes I am still trying to get out of the first zone, mortuary I think. with keys. I think I will have less dialogue, I will try those games you listed thanks. I will try to have companions too. that is great.

awesome paulgswanson!! I will check it out. Also, does anyone know if I can use keys you pick off from monsters, to unlock door prefabs? Or how I would do that? and use a key to gain access to a portal (activate access to a scene changer). please? the key would turn off the mesh collider so you can walk through the door.awesome tutorial. thanks for taking the time to make it.

  • @Keldryn Did you create that character in your Gaia terrain example with UMA?
  • @gimme: No, that one is a Mixamo Fuse character.

I'm currently spending a fair but of time with UMA though; I'm planning to include optional UMA support in the ORKsive package. So feel free to fire off any UMA questions in my direction.
  • Great I look forward to it, and thanks for the support!
