[Question] 2D Action RPG Game possible with ORK?

Hi everyone,
I want to create a 2D Action RPG Game for mobile devices and wanted to ask if ORK Framework is the right thing im looking for =) On the Tutorials Section and the Showcases i saw mostly 3D Games. The game would be similiar to zenonia or inotia.
So my question is very simple... Is ORK Framework a good tool to use for such a game? (I have coding experience in java and a little bit in c#).

@kirb is making a 2D metroidvaina game called "Dead Gear" that I really want to play - and it is using aspects of ORK framework.

Aren't there any examples from a 2D top down game like a project or videos? i would rly like to see something in that direction.
