I changed select combatant for the selected combatant object and the move into the direction for the Move node and it worked like a charm!

You were super right. I had a node to disable my custom player control script in the startbattle schematic, and I have it set to disable the gameobject when that happens!

@henkesky1 that in the ability or on the Status effect? Block status change for me has only block attack changes, itens and abilities :/
