goes the same for the last question but when dealing with terrain textures is there a way to pull those or am i going to have to set up some kind of collider system for this?

  • Well, what's the actual use case?
    Generally, the raycast will hit the terrain, thus adding the terrain as game object.

    in this case it would be to spawn a particle by type of texture hit like dirt or dust for a dirt texture grass type particle for grass ect and for foot step sounds based on texture...

  • btw your raycastign works better then playmaker. playmaker would not produce multiple raycast form same fsm but yours does!
