when i add music to my scene other than the mainmenu the music volume is really low can barley hear the music i have the music all the way up in the options an it works fine in unity when i test it from the inspector. i have tried to attach the music player to the camera put both to 0 an it still isnt allowing for it to have anything but very low volume. this states a problem for when i need music for a climatic scene not to mention music is what sets the mode for alot of my game.

  • Hmmmm... This is interesting. I tried to mimic your problem in my project but with no luck. However, I did get it to mimic when I miss around with the windows volume control to lower only unity application volume.
  • Hmm in the music file, did you disable the "3D Sound"?
  • iv been having this same problem but since iv been having so many problems iv been trying to fix them myself since i am so new. iv gotten alot fixed but this one has confused me alot. where is the "3d sound" option? i cant see it in the ork framwork.
  • nevermind, i found it under the music file in the editor. and that fixed it. sorry for posting. thanks though :)

Good to see you have solved it, J1e3s5.
And Wtyson, 3D sound should be off, not on. To put it simply, If you put it on, the sound will get lower the further you are from the source, but if it's off, no matter where you are in the scene, the sounds will always be loud.
