I am wanting to use the show dialogue node to display dialogue, but instead of closing and reopening the box, I would like that box to stay open, and instead update the content inside it with new content. Then, only close the box when I decide to do so (usually when switching characters talking). Is there a way for me to do this?

    Not directly, but you can use Page Break (< #> without the space after <, or < page> for the TextMesh Pro paged content version if you want to set that up) text codes to separate a single dialogue's text into multiple pages to update the text without closing the dialogue.
