Maybe I am misunderstanding those features.
How would I make a base item (say - stat modifying weapon), and then have multiple variations for the different combinations of stats and values?
Purple Sword
+1 Finesse, +1 Power
Orange Sword
+2 Finess…
Once again I have found the solution to my problem! You can simply use setbasevalue to achieve my desired result!
_combatantComponent.combatant.Status[i].SetBaseValue((int)moddedStat);
Okay thanks, a few questions:
End After Turns - Random - Is this inclusive or exclusive of the values?
I'm also having some trouble "triggering" the ability when I expect it to. As I'm using the DoT in an AOE attack (think flamestrike), I would ex…
So, I'm not sure if this is the best way to do it but I found a workaround to avoid having to move the formulas into ORK, but still take advantage of ORK triggering abilities/animations/etc..
Basically I do all my calculations as normal for my abil…
It is the only value change - although there is a barrier that I have set up.
When I look at the combatant components, every status value is positive (http://puu.sh/oz0PJ/330c135036.png & http://puu.sh/oz0YC/951c018955.png), and I have added tw…
Hmm - one more thing. I'd like to have two types of phase battles (one active command and the other normal). Is there an easy way to access that property from within ORK?
For reference, here is what I did - not sure if there is a better way:

Hmm - I couldn't find anything in the abilities that looked duplicated. But I did decide to experiment and I turned off the Refresh Notification for the affected Status -> Status Values. This seemed to fix the issue.
So now my problem is - why w…
Great I will try doing that today! Thanks!
For reference - I set up a bool and got it to work with an event as shown:

This event occurs in the middle of my animations (allowing me to fire missiles, transition, an…
Is it possible to make the cursor move to the object I'm hovering over, or is that the same as selecting?
If not, I will just write a separate script that will move my own cursor prefab for me.
Thanks though - that Raycast being set to 3D only wa…
Hi GiL,
Now that you are back from a well deserved holiday maybe you can help me with this issue?
I still seem unable to use the mouse to hover over and select different enemies during a combat.
Thanks!
Yes - you can set up status developments that would adjust based on a formula (which obviously you would have to make), but that would allow them to scale differently.
For the second question I think you could do this in a couple of ways (disclaime…
So - I should note that I have temporarily fixed this issue by modifying my events to look similar to this (http://puu.sh/oolYw/3eabdaaff7.png), but ideally I wouldn't have to do that since I don't want the overhead of searching every object and the…
Thanks Keldryn. Combatant.Actions.ChoosingStateChanged is pretty close to what I need (ideally it would just trigger once, but I'll create a state so I know if its "starting" or "ending".
Thanks for helping me with this!
