In Turn Based Battles,
My battle team has two combatants, the player and one member.
If the player dies and the member is still alive, the enemies won't do the attack, they just DO NOTHING to end their turns. My battle member can do the attack.
And if the member dies first, everything works fine.
I don't think it's the USE RANGE problem, before the player dead, the enemies can attack my whole group combatants.
If I set the member to be AI Controlled after the player dead, the member will DO NOTHING to end the turns too.
All of my combatants are AI Controlled in Combatants-->Combatants-->Battle Settings-->AI Settings.
And in my battle start event, I use Change AI Controlled node to disable Player Group's AI Controlled.
In that case, this'll pretty much get everyone out of AI/battle ranges.
