Hey, just wondering if it's possible to create a new game + with Ork?
Or is there a way that the system can access variables from a save game, that can be read before the game launches/before main menu is opened.

Currently not, at least not from the main menu.
You can e.g. have a choice at the end of the game to start again, but in the event you'll need to manage things like resetting scene IDs for battles and items, remove game variables that shouldn't be set, etc.
